About Me 

As a qualified Nutrition Health Coach, I create an environment that enables my clients to understand their health priorities and achieve goals to improved health via my coaching plans. These plans are designed to support and guide a client to feel their best and happiest. Throughout my education, I have been exposed to the most cutting-edge dietary theories and highly effective coaching techniques to find the best way forward for each client on their journey to understanding themselves and what works best for them. 

As someone who suffered from gut dysbiosis and the negative effects of it for the majority of their life, I believe that gut health really is the key to the overall well-being of a person and am relieved to have finally found a way to manage mine. Now... it is my turn to help you. 

Most approaches to health dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good / bad foods, I guide my clients to explore basic improvements and introduce gradual changes that relate to all aspects of their lifestyle.  As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. 

I believe that the root cause of most autoimmune disease is due to an unhealthy gut and chronic inflammation in the body. Due to societal norms, we have become accustomed to certain lifestyle habits which do not support a healthy micro biome or strong immune system. Data shows this to be a growing epidemic (over 50 million Americans suffer from autoimmune diseases) and something that we need to pay more attention to. Once these two main factors of gut health and inflammation have been addressed, my clients begin to feel better and healthier, quickly. 


How I work

I practice a holistic approach to Health and Wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life, mind & body are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising, or a particular food group make your symptoms worse? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your current lifestyle and health history affect the way you feel, and get to the reason for what's been holding you back (till now).

Determining the root cause of our symptoms and triggers is the first step to healing. For this reason step One in my work is an identification process, followed by the implementation or removal of particular habits. Together, we then work to consolidate the necessary tools & techniques to practice consistently, and prevent symptoms from returning. We always strive for long-term results and sustainable change.

Another portion of the work I do is to encourage individuals to get in touch with their body’s needs, current imbalances and to use the incredible system inside us for clues. The body wants to feel good and will heal naturally when give the chance. However, we often don't give it that chance, and ignore its signals. By learning to pause, listen and then acting accordingly, we equip ourselves with the self-awareness and knowledge to make the best decisions for our health in the long-term. 

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.

My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
